My new Pistons

Here are my new Beauties!

Lovely Ceramic Coating up top. I think I am going to send them away to get a Teflon coating on the sides. Hopefully, I'll have them in by the end of summer with my cams.

I want to... I don't really have the room to do it. But I've got some friends that are going to help out. I've got to put in the pistons, JBP's Stage 2 Cams, and the Valve Springs (the only real bitch to do). BUT, with the cams, I'm curious as to how it will affect AFR. I might need to switch back to my 3.0" pulley. hopefully not. I don't have the money for 60#'s and a tune right now. These babies and the Cams set me back enough.

I found it much easier to have a machine shop change the valve springs for about 50 bucks. Unless you have a tool like the one used in the build books, you won't be able to do it yourself anyways.

i have a friend that can take it somewhere. He built a couple Honda's, I trust him. And he's got a lot of tools. He's got a 500+whp H22 Integra right now. He knows what he's doing.

But would a Machine Shop be able to shim the valves to the proper height? I assume so.

If i switch to 60#'ers... you'll tune for beer right? Haha... 24 Corona enough?

You didn't get the teflon coating? Great pistons. How much did you pay and from where?

Got them on the Cobalt Performance Parts Group Buy... TECHNICALLY, Blurred_Vision bought them on the Group Buy, but he ran into tranny problems and I bought them off of him. Pistons and Intense Tranny mounts for $460
