You can try first changing your plugs.

Well alot of things would make your car not idle right, plugs would be one of them.
Whats wrong with your car? spark plugs foul out or something?

There are a ton of things that can cause a misfire. From something as simple as a couple bad plugs to holes in your pistons or broken valves. Now, I doubt it is something that sever but seriously, it could be anything.

Best bet is you have a warranty. Have you modified the car at all? If so what mods have you done? These things will make a difference. But really, you have a 100K mile Powertrain warranty on that car and this definately falls under that catagory...use it.

Take it to the dealer if its warrantied... Its your best bet for a free repair. I am sure they will find what's wrong with it, then make them tell you , and check to see if it was really change if they decied to replace stuff.

A while back i got a misfire CEL. i took it in and they said it was for 1,3,4. they said it was because of my intake. I laughed in there faces and told them to clear the code. they did and it has never come back.

Get your check engine light (CEL) scanned if you really want to know what the computer is saying. Some places like Autozone do it for free. If you have full warranty take it to the dealer. It amazes me why someone would even ask. A car not idling right is likely a missfire which can be caused by many things. The most common is dirty spark plugs, old spark plugs, and spark plug wires will also cause this. A crack or split in plug wires will cause it. Performance plug wires not installed properlly.

He is probably referring to the sensor, but I could be wrong.

I was having a mult mis-fire on my 2.4 for months the light would only come on after a while I had to take my cai off because it was the one that AEM used for the 2.4 in their R&D I got a ticket for not being CARB exempt there was slight moisture on the filter from car washes that use the undercarrage washer. low and behold 3 weeks later no more P0300 mult mis-fire so on a cai you can get the mult mis-fire code. If you have a cai check the filter especially at the front bottom. My stock set-up is on for now until I get the exempt sticker
I had a relearn on the crank also but it was only until a bit more moisture also I would be trying to see why the misfire would happen way before changing the cai and when I would let it warm up when the Idle would settle I would get the code on my reader if I wouldn't let it warm up for long I wouldnt get the misfire code as quick. I didn't want to believe it was the cai I'm now waiting for K&N to call me because they used my car also and I was told about 3 weeks for the K&N 2.4 intake Hopefully it will be sri
