High beams will only turn on my HID kit

High beams will only turn on my HID kit

alright so i installed my HID kit and everything works except for they will only turn on if my high beams are on. its not a big deal but i just dont get why it does that, has anybody had this happen to them?

which wire did you use to tap into? use the blue and the black wire for positive and negative. the other wire, i think its red, uses the high beam.

are they a plug and play kit or did you have to hard wire them? if they were a plug and play someone made your harness wrong or something, otherwise you just tapped the wrong wires.

its all plug in play, its only that blue plastic piece that connects to the cars controller to turn everything on when it has to

yeah its wired wrong. you should be safe to just clip the harness off and use the wire taps into the blue and black wire. i jsut did this thursday.
