i went under the car today to pull the lip off there puting a new one on so i wanted this one. but there is no damage under the car or in the trunk. the trunk lid is bent and the bumper is pushed up. the car took the hit very well.

Yea im actually a bit suprised. With the way thay make cars today, any accident and the thing disintegrates like a f1 car hitting a wall.

There is no way that was hit doing 40, especailly by a dump truck...well, maybe it was hit while it was moving 40 and the dump truck 45.....but idk. There really isn't much damage for that type of collision. I would think the rear 1/4 panels would be screwed and maybe the rear glass too at that speed. but maybe not.

idk what speed the car was hit at. she said it was around 40ish. she was at a light that just turned green but a car ran there red light so she waited and then she went to go and the truck hit her from the back and she reached over to get her little sister so she didnt hit the dash and her arm got messed up and her neck.

That did not happen at 40 mph..My dad drives dump trucks for a living, and he has gotten into accidents, several accidents where people cut him off. The most recent accident happened between on of his drivers and an Explorer. It was under 30 mph, and the Explorer was absolutely totaled. Another one of his driver was in an accident today, his truck flipped over while he was dumping the load. At most, that accident occured 10-20 mph, due to the damage. Needless to say, I hope everything goes well with your friend, and I hope she isnt hurt severly. I hope she gets better soon.

nope they thought there was frame damage do the drivers side of the car but there isint. it was hit by a dump truck bc shes takeing the company to court to pay for her hospital pills and in the back bumper you can see the 4 screws that whole the bumper onto the truck they molded into the cobalts bumper. the car took the hit very good for what it was hit with. but i think he hit it at around 10ish not 40 put i wasint there so idk
