Possibly a sticking caliper? Could just be that your pads are getting low to and its past the Champer, which is like the anti squeak part of the pad. Does your car pull to a side when you hit the brakes?

Did they do an Alignment after the strut install? That could be why your car is pulling to the left while driving.. When your hitting the brakes though it shouldn't pull harder UNLESS something is loose or your caliper is sticking, Look at your rotors and if they is any discoloration like Hot spots that could be a sign of a sticking caliper.

Yeah after a strut install you need an alignment. Your car is pulling to the left so they probably didn't set your camber or caster. Id go find someone to do an alignment or at least check it and go from there.

How many miles are on your car?

Usualy when you put new parts on the car it voids the warranty for the alignment but if GM did all the work i would take it back to them and say the car pulls plus the steering wheel is off a little.. Ask them for a Before and After Reading of the Alignment. That way you can see what was going on with it and that makes the mechanic have to do there job right not just have ass and get it close.

sounds like a sticky caliper... But get a garden hose and blast the rotor though the rim with water, if it goes away, then its probably brake dust and you have nothing to worry about.
