Halo Replacement-Success...Kinda

I had a halo that did not light up, so I bought some 3MM LED's from MKulrey13 and put them in. Each halo takes two LED's. Joeworkstoohard helped me through this process, and we both agree, it's not hard, but possibly time consuming. A How-To will be posted in a couple weeks. Here is the outcome:

As you can see, there is a difference. I ordered BLUE bulbs when I should have ordered problably WHITE. So A How-To will be posted in the next few weeks about how to replace the halo bulbs. Hope you guys like...

Wow Nice, I agree that blue halo is sweet. I have a halo ring on my driver's side that is out so I need to replace my LEDs. I will be waiting for the HOW TO.

Nah, you won't get bugged for that. Are you going to write that how-to soon? I'd like to see how you did it so I can do it myself.

Looks good.

Just be careful. in a lot of states having red or blue lights on the front of your car/truck is illegal. Red and blue lights are for emergency vehicles only.

Found that out when I got a $300 ticket for having red Angle eyes(halo's) on my old BMW

Looks good JP. Make sure you post up that DIY, I'm going to need to do this soon and would like to see what I'm getting myself into before I take em apart.

if you remove the led assembly, it is pretty obvious that there isnothing protecting it from the elements, I am guesing that is why they fail, the weather or the heat.

I am debating filling in the holder with some clear caulking.
