Unorthodox Racing pulley's - Need Cobalt SS for testing !!

We have talked to Unorthodox Racing and they are interested in making a stock sized, lightweight crankshaft pulley. This would save about 3 lbs off the crankshaft, and would allow for faster revs, and a more peppy motor, and about 5-6 hp.

Anyways, UR would like to talk to someone in the New York area, or close by that can drive by their shop, and be there for about an hour. This way they can look at the Cobalt SS, and see whats involved in producing this piece, and estimate hp gains. They would not need to dissasemble anything on your car in this inspection, and it would not cost you anything for your time.

For your time, and help in producing this piece if UR makes one, they will give you a free pulley, and install it, and dyno test it on your car for you all at no charge.

If you can help UR with this, contact Shaun at the number below. Help yourself to a free pulley and dyno time, and help the Cobalt SS community out !!

Very nice, I am very happy, because previously they told me that they didn't plan to make pullies, but now they decide to do some ! It will be very nice for faster reving of the motor.

They had no interest in making a pulley for the Cobalt SS, however when talking to the operations manager at UR, I stressed to him how we would like to have one made, and we (MP) will pay for the entire first run of these to make sure they make them !

So, they are interested now that they know we are willing to support their production, and because we think its worthwile for the Cobalt SS ! Its important to know that UR is willing ot help the Cobalt market, but its also important to know that MP an important step in getting these made as well !!

Well, lets push them to make one for the 2.2 ! UR is a great company, and they are willing to make quality products where theres a demand.

Ill try to help push for a 2.2 pulley on our side, it would also be good if we could have a push from 2.2 owners as well to make UR make a pulley !

I talked with the guys at UR, and they said that they had a few inquiries and were going to work with a few people after Sema.

If you have contacted UR and were going to help get this project rolling, please contact UR again so that we can get this ball rolling !!
