This is what happens when u rush while trying to take the gold piece off the chrome with the bowtie-





Paint looks good but the crack looks like ass. I can either take it completely off or get a new one. What do u guys think?

The krylon fusion paint i used work great, best by far. Gona use it on my headlights tonight ..

You didnt have to seperate the two. Just tape over the entire bowtie and and ise a razor blade on the crese and remove the tape from the yellow part. Anyway, car looks sick!

 

I hate taping **** off, its a PITA if u ask me. Seperating the 2 pieces leaves nice clean lines. Plus if i was gona put tape over it i would of had to remove the whole thing from the car.... big PITA... all that adhesive crap... I just saw it easier to remove the gold from the silver, paint that then stick it back on. O well..

Thanks guys but damn.. i put a shitt load on and all it does is wash off after a couple days and if i dont let it dry all the way before i drive then it gets all over my ride...

looks nice but if it were me i would take that bowtie off until i got a chance to find another one and try again.

oh, and i noticed that in the pic of the rear bowtie, the car is dirty but the bowtie is not... you didnt install that thing over the dirt, did you?

 

quick question on the exhaust pic um whats hold it up?? not going to rag on you just curious to know.
