18" Rims for 06' Cobalt SS/SC

Where is a good place to order rims for the 06 Cobalt SS/SC? I think the stock 18"s look like crap! So i'm looking for 18"s chrome and i'm having a hell of a time finding something to fit the crappy 5x110 bolt pattern. No one that sells decent rims has anything in that bolt pattern that i can find.
When i thought it was a 5x100 pattern i found great rims for a great price.

That is the style i would love to see on my 06 SS/SC!

When I first ordered my Cobalt, the rims that they showed on the website were sweet, very nice 5 spoke 18's. But, when I ordered it, the brochure they gave me showed the fugly 18's. I asked, they said they sometimes use different rims for the marketing hype, and the stuff in the picture is "subject to change". This was the pic that made me happy about the stock rims:

To answer your question, there is nothing good available from any company at the moment. We're going to have to wait about 1-2 years for the industry to realize how much money they can make on all the SS/SC owners chomping at the bit to spend money on these cars. I spoke with a rep from a high end wheel manufacturer(I forget which one, might have been BBS)and he told me they had ZERO plans on making anything for the Cobalt SS. This seemed really odd since a lot of the stuff this company makes targets cars from the sport compact crowd. I really hope most of the other companies don't take on this anti-Cobalt-parts-producing policy.

On the other Hand, I've heard Kazera(sp?) IS planning on making wheels for our cars. I think I'll be looking at what they have to offer when the time comes.

That's why *eventually* I'm planning on looking into lightweight 17s.

BBS makes wheels that will fit the SS, just not in 18s. They made factory wheels for the SAABs with the 5x110 pattern, but they were 17".

Those don't look too bad. You should look at www.tirerack.com, they have a five spoke 18" that looks good also.

I agree with you on the preproduction rims looking better, but the stock ones have kinda grown on me. I hated the current stock ones in all the pictures, but seeing them in person changed my mind about them. Weight is my only gripe for now.

The factory rims are lightweight.

If you want (IMO ugly) chrome rims I could drill probably 15 different styles in 5-110 today and have them to you next week.

Call our exclusive Canadian dealer, Wheels Direct. 416-754-0997

Tell them Erod from Player Wheel Group sent you.
