tax..AFAIK, there is no special order cost. with a black exterior, you can have any interior accent color. but i may be wrong, i havnet looked into them since i bought my skittle.

As promissed, I went to Superior yesterday and I came home with a black g85. I had pretty high hopes from all i've read and I must say, I was NOT dissapointed. This car is really zippy and handles like a slot car. Also, I've never had a car with any sort of a "good" sound system so the sub in the trunk is a sweet little perk.

so when are we going to meet up? the weather is perfect, and i have a feeling we can get a LOT of the car people out for a big meet or cruise night...whos game?

What up, I'm from Oklahoma, but bought my Sunburst orange SS from Superior in KC. I love those guys, they didn't crew me around at all. Drove up from Tulsa and drove home with a new SS, all in one day. They were so nice I'd drive the 4 hours back just to buy another new car from them. Don Ross was my salesman, he was great.

ive seen 1 red cobalt ss s/c, but i didnt get a chacne to talk to them. ive seen 1 blue 'look alike' s/c, but it was just a 2dr coupe with the ss wing. some girl drives it, go figure. nice color though :D

Mike, I painted the chevy emblem on the grill. It wasnt to hard. I fucked it up though while I was waxing the car. But, you just have to remove the emblem from the grill, its held on by 2 nuts. Be very carefull taking them off. They tread onto plastic studs. Break those and you have to get a new emblem. Then just sand and paint.

For the rear it would be easier to buy a new one and paint it, then remove the one on the car and install the painted one.

BBQ sounds good. I work at a grocery store at night. So, I can pretty much get whatever we need.

for a bbq we need to set a date that will be far enough out so people can come, we might have to do it at a park so there is the issue with the city. if you guys want to throw out some dates and lets see if we can get it going.

Mike, yeah its held with 3M double sided tape. Its a p.i.a. to get off. But, I have a heat gun. So, it makes it a lot easier. I can help you with it, if you want. I got everything needed here at my place.

I got a friend that owns a Sonic not far from me. I'll talk to him. Maybe I can get something set up with him. I've been to a few cruises there, which werent bad. But, he has a small parking lot. But, there's a Wendy's and a car wash right next to him. So, maybe he can talk to them about letting us use thier lots as well, if needed.

I think Shawnee Mission is the better deal. $40 for a medium shelter for 3pm-10pm. We might have to get a Special Permit, though. We'ld have to call and ask.

Plus, its closer to the edge of the city. So, another couple miles and your in a low-populated cop area for those that want to play.


Im going to ask my friend at Sonic. If we got less the 7 people, then it'ld be cheaper to go there. If we got 10+ then renting a shelter somewhere would be better.

:lol: it is? I live about 2.5 miles away from there and I rarely find a race. Usually the people worth racing are always just passing through or going to 'the legends' to park and shop. Last time I found race around here was a few months ago with a hatch back that I put a few greyhounds on. Although, I have seen a silver ss/sc around here and a red ion redline a few times but it's always when I'm not driving my car.

The most cars i've seen worth racing is out in olathe. Almost got to run a bugeye wrx and a 05+ mustang GT but there was too much traffic last saturday.

Head into Leavenworth a little there is a lot of wannabe's down there! I lived down there with my parents durring my "divorce" they live off of 123rd! I got messed with all the time and was just comming home from there the other night on parallel and some dipshit in a 4 door single cam saturn with a fart can tried to race me (never said "GOOD" races!) But was talking more of a place for a meet rather than races!
