you know what would be cool is if we could organize a bbq this summer and get all the local cobalt and j-bodys, and saturn guys (my bad) together for a meet and greet,

 

Mike, I painted the chevy emblem on the grill. It wasnt to hard. I fucked it up though while I was waxing the car. But, you just have to remove the emblem from the grill, its held on by 2 nuts. Be very carefull taking them off. They tread onto plastic studs. Break those and you have to get a new emblem. Then just sand and paint.

For the rear it would be easier to buy a new one and paint it, then remove the one on the car and install the painted one.

Im actually painting some new SS emblems for my car right now.

 

BBQ sounds good. I work at a grocery store at night. So, I can pretty much get whatever we need.

 

so for the rear bow tie, its just on there with some adhesive right

 

for a bbq we need to set a date that will be far enough out so people can come, we might have to do it at a park so there is the issue with the city. if you guys want to throw out some dates and lets see if we can get it going.

 

Maybe this Saturday or is that too soon. I have school next saturday but any sunday would work for me.

 

I think thats a little to soon. How about say around the 23rd? Thats about 3 weeks. So, there's more time to plan and get more people.


Mike, yeah its held with 3M double sided tape. Its a p.i.a. to get off. But, I have a heat gun. So, it makes it a lot easier. I can help you with it, if you want. I got everything needed here at my place.

I dont work on fridays. So, thats easier for me. And also, it'ld be cooler in the evenings. But, anytime and day works for me. I can work around me sleep.
