Well, if we do Longview lake. Here's the info on reserving a spot.
2006 Weekday Rates
Monday through Thursday (10:00 a.m. to Sunset) $40.00
Fridays (10:00 a.m. to Sunset) $60.00
2006 Weekend & Holiday Rates
Saturday, Sunday or Holidays (10:00 a.m. to Sunset) $80.00
I got a friend that owns a Sonic not far from me. I'll talk to him. Maybe I can get something set up with him. I've been to a few cruises there, which werent bad. But, he has a small parking lot. But, there's a Wendy's and a car wash right next to him. So, maybe he can talk to them about letting us use thier lots as well, if needed.

thats kinda high price to pay for spot at park for bbq. sml is $35 small shelter for half day, If we did a bbq I think a saturday afternoon would be best,
the big ? is how many people can we get to come. looks like us 3 are on the same page, I can always see if we can get some j-body guys

Half days are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Full days are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
SMALL SHELTERS (fees are non-refundable)
Johnson County Residents: $35 for half day or $55 for full day.
Non-Residents: $50 for half day or $85 for full day

I think Shawnee Mission is the better deal. $40 for a medium shelter for 3pm-10pm. We might have to get a Special Permit, though. We'ld have to call and ask.
Plus, its closer to the edge of the city. So, another couple miles and your in a low-populated cop area for those that want to play.
Im going to ask my friend at Sonic. If we got less the 7 people, then it'ld be cheaper to go there. If we got 10+ then renting a shelter somewhere would be better.

You cobalt kids doing anything this weekend? I had a dissapointing day at kcir fri so i'm hoping something better will come up today. I'll probably go back next friday as it's the last friday grudge, try out a few launching techniques that may help me drop my times.

I lived off North Oak about 4 months ago. To many jap crap around there. Really bad off antioch too. Maybe we all should plan a get togather. Havent been on here for a while be nice to get with other Cobalt owners.
