What bov should i go with?

Hey whats going on,
Im still piecing my turbo kit together.
What kind of bov would you guys go with? The 2 bov's im considering are the hks ssqv or the turbo xs rfl.The only bad thing i hear about the turbo xs bov's are that they tend to leak. What kind of bov's have you guys used, and how did you like it?

i heard good things about HKS SSQV. Greddy is good too. mostly about your preference.

LOL,im not worried about anyone stealing the car.Who steals chevys anyway?lol.Any car is easy to steal if you had a flat bed.If your talking about hot wiring,i dont know. When i installed my remote start,i couldnt hot wire it for ****.New cars these days are pretty much impossible to hot wire.I want a bov that sounds nice.Im not worried about any unwanted attention.

I wouldnt suggest the Greddy. Personally on my own cars I have had two and they like to leak. The hks one is very well built and I have not had any problems with them at all. The Tial sport bov are also very nice. If your looking to go cheap a first gen dsm bov works pretty good also.

The Tial bovs are a little more expensive than the RFL or the HKS SSQ. I like the HKS SSQ.

Yeah, that's a good idea. As long as you have the functionality you're good to go. They kind of get on your nerves after a while, and they draw alot of attention. It's all just preference I guess.

The new HKS SSQV all the way. It performs like a champ, doesn't leak, sounds great, and looks awesome.

I think the hks's you can put a fitting on it to make it a recirculating valve.Thats good for me if i get sick of the open vent,i can just put the fitting on and run it to the intake.Plus, dont they sell those inserts to quiet it down?I see they have silver, purple and gold inserts for it.I *think* the purple one is used to make it more quiet.Ill probably go with the one with the recirculating option. This way if the car bugs out by having it vented,i can always plumb it back into the intake.

I dont think there that easy to steal if your not flat bedding it.All the stories you read on here about there cars getting stolen are probably insurance jobs, lol. They probably got mad cause there cars werent as fast as they thought it would be,so they moved on to something faster.

i gotta friend with the HKS on his srt-4 and they like it. Really Loud, sounds awesome; which is what should matter to you since you dont really need one unless your'e boosting at least 18lbs.

huh?

back up a second turbo pants.

do you know the primary reason for a bypass, or blow off valve in the first place, aside from making noise?

Ever hear of compressor surge? You need some sort of release valve on any type of forced induction.
