Replacing/Cleaning the GMPP Intake Filter
I'm looking for input here from owners of the GMPP Intake, if you do not own it, or have never personally seen one in person, you probably wouldnt understand what im talking about. So please keep unknowledgeable input out of this thread..
#1: I'm just curious if anyone knew what the life was on these filters, or what you have used to clean the included cone filter.
#2: Also curious if anyone has upgraded or changed their filter to a different brand (or if its even possible because of the retarded size/ offset flange on the filter.)
I've got the part number for the replacement filter etc, just curious what everyone else has done.

Probably will just have to buy a new one; they aren't the "cleanable" type like a K&N.
I'm planning to re-install the stock intake once winter comes anyway; I might try to vacuum the cone and see if it gets any cleaner, but I'm not too worried. There is almost no dust on it at this time, or in the plastic box its mounted to.
