35W vs 50W hid kits?

i was browsing through ebay and i noticed that they now have 50W hid kits?? i just bought a 35W hid kit.. now my common sense tells me that a 50w kit would be brighter.. so what do you guys think?

There is really no reason for a 50w HID set. ~35w HID are already going to be brighter then the highest output halogens in the same size category.
