ok i searched on here for this and nothing came up, so it shouldn't be a repost...sorry if it is...i was browsing on a forum, and this person whoes friend works very close for GM snapped these pictures of the 09 Cobalt (with thte 2.0t) engines in them. if you look on all three of their windows, they all have a GM comapny car, these are test cars...(this is from another source that i got this from)

on their front windown, they have stickers...that means those are classified as their "company cars"

I agree man, there is no visual proof, but there is a guy on those forums who seems to know an awful lot about the difficulties GM is having getting the LNF into the Cobalt. I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to stuff I read on the net, but much of what this guy says adds up.
