In the end turbo will be cheaper to make 200+whp, trying to do it on the motor will cost you an arm and leg, you could do it with some nitrous also.

Start with having your head built up and some cams and you are there

They said its possible, but very expensive without going f/i or on the bottle. You would have to dig into the motor, and by that time you might as well put a turbo on.

Hasn't been done yet on strictly motor. I imagine a shot of "NAWZ" would do it the easiest.

It really comes down to cost vs benefits. In either scenario you are going to be spending alot of money and your car will be out of commission for a while. But while you are fairly limited with an n/a build with an engine of this size, a proper turbo build can net you alot of power.

I guess it also depends on what your specific goals are. Do you only want to get to 200whp or so? Are you willing to have that power only while on the bottle, or do you want to have over 200whp in "street" trim?

im in the same boat. when my car is finally fixed and stuff i have 5 grand to play with from my other car that was totalled. i was thinkin turbo, but honestly, i could trade my car in and put 5 grand towards an ss/sc which will get me the power i want.

i think its just the case where u just gotta buy the car how you want it and not waste money trying to make it something that it is not.

Then you wouldn't be unique. We dont buy our cars turboed or whippled which is why we spend all this money to do so

I would love to see a 2.4 raise the compression and rpms up to 10k. Full exhaust, aggresive cams, lighten the car and wheels, and some velocity stacks, and you would have one bad ass N/A ride. Some nitrious just in case.
