I bet the times would have been better at VMP.
I know MIR is even better than VMP. I ran successive weekends from VMP and MIR and my times were much quicker at MIR.

 

MIR? I dunno that one...but I was actually thinkn the next time we go, we should try Dimwitty(sp). I was gonna check to see when they have open runs

Hey man, are all those videos from 7/20? I didn't run you that night, I don't think I did at least, so I think the Rob Vs SI video is my 14.9 run?

 

so i work at the ship yard in newport news and someone with a red one works in building 903. Just wanted to say whats up i own the black srt.


Anyways as for drag strips in the area i would rate them like this: from best to worst


Mir: Best hands down

VMP: Good track well worth the extra 20 min in driving versus richmond in my opinion

Richmond: Complete **** as far as track prep is concerned and heaven forbid someone not break something.

Comparision of track prep by times, this was with conditions very close on both tracks.

Richmond: 13.4-13.6 2.1-2.3 60ft

Mir: 13.1-13.2 2.0-2.2 60ft

Just to give you guys an idea of the track differences. VMP is also a very nice track and is recommended if you dont want to drive the 3+ hours to mir. Mir will be hosting a big even in the coming weeks for sport compacts if anyone is interested.


And oh yea who in the hell has the license plate SRT THIS I hope you enjoyed getting your ass handed to you by a stock turbo srt you cocky bastard.(He did talk **** the entire time before and after the race made excuses not bashing on the ss/sc guys in general)

 

well obviously if you raced him and he was talking ****, then talk **** to his face, please keep it off the forums.

 

obviously if i was asking who he was i didn't actually meet him in person, he had said stuff before i raced him about my car and made excuses after was just asking if anyone knew him. I also provided information on the tracks and such in an attempt to help provide info.

Regardless it was meant to be a drama free post so sorry to the conflict.

Hope to see some of you ss guys at some shows, the srt guys also do quite a few dyno/tune days as well as track rentals if any of you guys would be interested toss me a pm.
