I know there was a few of you all that I had met with over the weekend that was talking about the track- I was wondering if anyone was going to be heading up there this Friady for the test and tune Night! If so, please let me know- I will be up there but I don't want to be the only balt up there racing! Thanks!

Yeah, which track!?! I may be in Wheeling this weekend for work..

 

It's a Dragstrip in Kentucky- It's called Ohio Valley Dragway! It's in Louisville, but close to West Point (Meade County)! I would like to have plenty of people there, the more the merrier! If you all would need directions I would be more than happy to give them to you all! It's only a 1/8th mile though! Not like Beechbend or the Indianapolis Dragway which is a 1/4th mile! But it's fun to go and hang and meet new people!

 

I've been wanting to make it down there more this year but haven't other then once. Bald tires and heat=bad times. Maybe in sept when it cools and i get some new rubber.

 

1/8 mile, that sucks... You want to meet tons of balt owners look for the meet in Columbus during October

we went to a track after the Casers creek meet, it was 1/4mile & it was pretty good, i cant remember the name tho

 

Yeah sucks its only an 1/8th mile, but the track is usually prepped pretty well and you can run some good times.

 

Yeah it's not the best track- but it's really the only one around the Louisville area without having to drive forever in a day! And the meet in October- Where exactly is this meet @? and what date? I have plans for the first weekend in October, but other than that I don't see why not! I would love to meet more Cobalt people! There's not too many around my area, so yeah that would be fun!

Ohh yeah and we ran last night @ The Valley- I don't know how you all launch your cars-- but there is NO way to launch that car, I tried and the only thing you can really do is ease into it and then slam it-- but even then you still have wheel-hop like crazy... not good times @ all-- 11.05 is what he ran but he got so mad we just left so I didn't even get to run! But I will be up there on a Wednesday trying to figure out somethingS!
