I bought my Cobalt in March of this year. The guy who had it before me, changed the lug nuts to these Spline Drive nuts. I tried getting tires put on today, but I didn't have the lug nut key to get them off. Do any of you have these?

 

What we use at work to get them off without the key is a "turbo socket". I'm sure they are called by other names too. They are mostly used for getting off stripped outside bolts/nuts etc. Go to sears and look in the socket section.

 

i had to have Sears get me a new key for my lugnuts on my 05 Cobalt (had Motegi MR7's on it with the Spline-drives)... they replaced it for free because it split.
