feathering in 1st
feathering in 1st
Well I just got my sssc and I'm totally happy with the car. I've been searching around here and looking at some issues and such. One thing that popped up a couple times is people saying not to "feather" the clutch. I'm assuming you are talking about under racing conditions as I don't see how you could just take off in 1st gear (regular) and not feather the clutch. It would just either stall or buck badly and whatever. What's the deal with that?
Feathering in first would mean when launching from a dig dont jus drop it and hammer it, you will wheel hop badly with no mounts, or worse cause damage to your axles, its good to feather out the clutch and calmy get on it.
