Best 60ft times on stock tires?

I pulled a 1.94 tonight on the stock wheels and tires! I was very suprised when it came out of the hole. I have been doing 2.1's and 2.2's. I just have GM stage 2, CAI, 2.84 pulley. Best pass tonight was a 13.9@104.

Do u lower ur air pressure or nething on the tires? I have poly mounts and cab's and mine arent that good. That might b because my tires r almost bald tho. I really need new tires.

Nice freaking 60' times! I wish I could launch like that, or at least make it down the track without breaking for that matter. Nice driving though!

damn dude

I pulled a 2.13 last week, it was hot as ****, and the track was in high prep due to dragsters racing the next day. launching at 3500rpm with no hop and no spin. it just yanked hard.

I cannot imagine how you go about getting sub 2.0

he said at work his ET on that 60 was only a 13.9 i think. i think he also said he had a lot of heat soak before that run too.

my best in mine has been 2.02. whatever i screw up on the 60ft, i usually make up on the big end.

kcir does suck ass for track prep on grudge nights. the 2.0 was my first pass at a vamp race right after they prepped the track. i followed a big tire slick cars lines. i cheat

if you want to see what your car is seriously capable of at out alititude. wait till this fall when they have a big name race, or the final race for vamp.

Very nice. I've been getting 2.0s pretty often. I knew it was possible to get sub 2.0 with stock tires.

My best on stock tires i beleive was a 2.1-2 but now I have my motor mount, my tranny mounts, and just bought some DR's form hatrickstu, so I should be getting some good ass 60ft times.

because im slowy replacing my factory tires and i felt the car would have worse handling characteristics with a fatter tire on the front and skinnier tire on the back. so once the 215's wear out i will have 225 all around. make sense now?
