I have been to two different dealerships and both said that i do NOT need to change the supercharger oil. but every cobalt ss/sc owner is saying that i have to. I have about 20200 miles on my car and i need to know....SOMEONE HELP

 

Pontiac dealers carry it for $8 and change.

 

but how the hell do i change it? and how often?

 

from what ive heard our supercharger oil is good for 100k mi

 

The Eaton M62 is filled with a synthetic lubricant, it is also sealed. Therefore the supercharger oil is NOT serviceable.

 

Listen to the dealership, not the Cobalt owners you have been getting false information from!
