Yeah, i agree that it will work, but its quite expensive and you could get a Custom Tubes Inc. long tube 4-1 header and it would be pretty much the same for at least $200 less

holy ****!! that rediculous. Yah your better off buying the CTI, I love mine. Just specify what size flange you want for you exhaust. I opted for the 3" DP with a 2.5" neckdown.

it should fit. most engine related components are compatible from the ion and cobalt.

My buddy has that header on his Ion, it looks amazing and gets some decent gains from what he says. I might be buying it from him if it fits my car, if I do I'll let everyone know.

It does NOT fit ...

My question to SMS :

Hi ! I want to know if your ION Competition Header Package can fit a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged. Also, is the downpipe size 3in, is the catalyst a metal one or a ceramic one ? Also, how many CFM this header (and catalyst) can flow ? Thanks !!!

Reply from SMS :

Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately it will not fit the Cobalt SS. We have tested. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks,

Wes Carter
