1st time @ track with SS/SC in 90* heat

I picked up my SS/SC two days ago. I took it to the track last night. It was 90* and humid. The best I could do was 14.82 @ 95.51 2.30 60'. Other cars at the track last night were off their usual times by about .4 seconds. The car still had everything in it with 3/4 of a tank of gas. As I learn to drive it and temps come down, I'm hoping for 14.50 @ 98 on a good night. Then let the modding begin.

thats not bad at all for a first time with the car. With the temps lower then you should be around 14.5 for sure. I think the best on the site for stock was a 14.1 or 14.0. Cant remember if the 14.0 was reliable or not. Good job though.

14.2 is the lowest proven time. i'll bet the 14.0 guy took out his spare and had an air filter

I thought the humidity would make it hard for the car to breathe. Wait for a nice cool night when the humidity is not so high, you'll get a good run.

It was so hot. My clothes were sticking to me. Heat soak was pretty bad.

You turned almost the exact same time as my new '07 SC.

Except it was cool and dry when I made my run (but I also had just 500 miles on my car).

Will be going back soon, have 2k on the odo now ...
