We have a Kit figured out and running around making some power. The daily tune is over 350whp at this point.
There will be more on turbo kits in the coming weeks.

The Base kit uses the factory intercooler. It's actually pretty effiecient when it comes to pulling the heat out.

This future turbo for the 2.4 as well? 300+ to the ground is what I am looking for, TC or SC . Although a turbo might be easier on a clutch? What is the efficiency range of the turbo you are using, and where is the air intake located (stock loc.)?

is it also using the empty s/c as the manifold? i know the actual intake manifold, and the intercooler are connected, so i guess you'd have to remove the rotors from the s/c and leave it on there?

if we make a turbo kit for the 2.4, you will need a new clutch for sure, we would aim for around 350WHP.

intake on the 2.0 turbo is to the left of the engine

no not gutting the SC.

There's two options here

1. manifold that bolts on top of the lower intake manifold (cheaper option)

2. new lower intake manifold which will flow a lot more with intercooling built in

Hey Rebel have a question for you as far as the stock internals on the SS/SC lsj engines they will hold for hte 350 whp turbo swap right or am i wrong

Na I doubt they would do that, im pretty sure it uses a setup close to that of TAG's, but I could be mistaken.....

Hey Rebel have a question for you as far as the stock internals on the SS/SC lsj engines they will hold for hte 350 whp turbo swap right or am i wrong

Werd, there is a TAG turbo balt pushing 406hp I believe, dont know how long it would last but 350hp sounds good for a safe tune, w/ the right IAT2's you should be good

yea, the guy we know is around the 350whp mark and he's driving it everyday

not sure about the 406hp, I would say that's crank

IAT2's are amazing on a turbo, 111*F at full WOT

So if i wanna stay with stock internals, i think that 350 whp with a turbo and stock internals is still cheaper then buying a twinscrew and replacing the internals that just what i think anyone have any other ideas or opinions on that

anyone else i am not trying to make it look like the twinscrew is bad but if i wanna save some money would it be safer to go with the turbo kit honestly i love the supercharger cause i like my power now instead of waiting for the turbo to spool up

Jmc007 when should we expect your orders?

I prefer to go one component at a time since I'm running a crappy setup for too much time now. Yesterday night I ordered the 60# injectors FM from R-Tronix. I have opened a new PayPal account yesterday so within 2 or 3 days I'll be able to order HPTuner PRO and Innovate Wideband kit. Then I would be pleased to test those components together for say during a week or two to see how the car pulls with my current setup tuned. I'm running a 2,6" pulley, shorty header with 1 3/4" primaries, high flow filter, and custom 2,5" catback. Still running the stock downpipe but it's probably worthless to spend money on it if i go with a turbo kit.

Yeah I'm still undecided between running a ported head on stock blower, a twinscrew swap, or a turbo swap. The fact is that I'm still running the stock clutch and I would prefer not to upgrade it if possible on a short term basis. I prefer the mid to high pulls on roads, instead of jump starts and tire burning shows.

There is also the fact that my car isn't arrived here in Calgary yet ! Still on the train I expect it tomorrow !!

That's mostly it for now. And I'm still anxious to see any turbo or ported head dyno charts ! Thanks for the help.

I recommend a good clutch be fairly high up on your mod list. Everyone who's made good power has cooked the stuck clutch.

Yea my stock clutch started crapping out on me with just stage 2 running a 2.85" pulley. Now i have a stage 2+ and I love it.

The Full Version gives you a 600hp front mount bar and plate intercooler with piping.
Also we are going to be offering a aluminum sheet metal fabricated manifold to replace the lower stock manifold. The new manifold should make 20hp on it's own, with velocity rings inside. Most of the DSM guys have gone to manifolds of this style.

Damn, I can't wait to see final products and pricing on the Turbo kits. This is the direction that I plan to go, it's just a matter of getting the money and deciding on exactly what parts I will need.

Luv2Race

They have a GB going on now it will last for a month on the prices that they put up.

I'd like to see the prices and check my budget before making a final decision as of now. Also want to see exactly what will be included.
