ok heres a question. whats that clicking noise that happens 3 times when i turn my car off? it sounds like its coming from the back? also how fucked are my brakes if when i pull the handbrake it coasts down a hill sounding like a high squeeking noise?

i have that clicking noise too, it doesnt happen all the time but sometimes it happens after i get out and lock it.

i've got a 2.4 and i also have the clicking...annoying, especially since i'm not sure what it is.

I too have the clicking and it sound like someone is knocking on my trunk freaks me out.

I don't know about the clicking. The brake is what I would be more concerned about. With the parking / emergency brake set and the car off or in neutral, it should not move at all. If it does, get it serviced. It's a simple adjustment.

That clicking noise scared the hell out of me the first time I heard it. I was still in the car- in the garage- and thought someone had walked in behind me and was knocking on my trunk!! :eek:

I'm not as worried about it now that I've seen it's fairly common, but I'd still like to know what it is... :wtf:

the clicking noise is from the exhaust, it's nothing to worry about
