i was talking to my uncles good friend owns a good shop in lagrange he said he can do some bore on my engine block but i think if im correct the 2.4 and 2.0s are sleeved or no just the 2.0s or not at all. curious i dont remember.

Has anyone done anything like that yet? would say a .20-.40 over bore be good with some new pistons and rings if its sleeved. the guy would know we could make the cylinder bigger and then sleeve it then bore it down some but wouldnt be much smaller then what stock is by about .10 or .20 anyone has any ideas post it up thanks.

2.0 is sleeved with a Cast iron cylinder wall. 2.4 is not sleeved. The Cast Iron helps to keep things under control when madmen crank up the boost on their SS/SCs so the block doesn't grenade and blow them to kingdom come.

 

i thought so. cuz i seen a blown 2.0 and it had some water in it and the cylinder was rusted alittle bit and the piston was burnt out but that was from to much air in cylinder 4.
