Hey guys. I got a good deal on vht night shades and I was woundering if I should go through with it and black out my tails. I have a black lt sedan and I'm about to have my windows tinted. My concern is black car black window black tails.......... is that's gonna be too much black. Any tips or advise or pics of you car with this done? Thanks chris

 

I think it would look tight...my opinion...but i am in VA where the ******* law says that i cant black out my taillights or headlights soo i am a little pissed about that...but i say goo for it

Your car will look that much better! As long as you can see the brake lights during the day, it's all good!

 

That's the thing idk what the law is here in ohio I was as long as the reverse lights wernt blacked out it was ok???

Lol also like I said before I need to cover the round circles for the reverse lights so they don't get painted.. What's the best thing to use/make a perfect circle???

 

Compass.... Lol, excuse the smart-ass-ness. Try painters/masking tape, or use vinyl. Use a compass if you really want it to be perfect.

 

do it man. I just helped my friend with his on wednesday and it looks great. also remove the bowtie or paint it black. it will look incredible.

I like it but I didn't want to be like everyone else so I i just blacked out the side markers and the 3rd brake light and I like that a lot

I didnt know the law here either so I didnt sand paper mine or put clear coat on them and it comes off pretty easy with paint thinner. I used 3 coats and they turned out pretty good
So try it and if you get pulled over just tell them u didnt know the law and you will go straight home and take it off they should just give you a warning

 

well i think im gonna do it on sunday im tired as **** now, worked 9 hrs came home and me and my buddy put eibach sportlines on the balt. next up tail and tint. then i jus gotta make it go a lil faster! lol ill get pics by sunday but idk how to post them

Well I did it! And it looks sweet but it hasn't stoped raining for the past 2 days 4 me 2 take some pics...... but I like it. I actually think now that its day I shoulda went a little darker but then I'd be scared the light wouldn't show through that bright at night??? I think I'm gonna get my windows tinted this week and a 4 wheel alignment also as I lowered the car this weekend too!!!!! I jus have to find a good price cuz tinit is 250. And I don't wanna spend a ass load on both.

Also can someone tell me how to make some eyelids real quick. I know there are a rew diffrent styles. I wanna do the vinal. But some make the car look sleepy or high. I want the mean ones thanks chris

I think it looks great. Maybe you should consider Replacing the Bulb with some LEDs to compensate for the loss of light.
