stage 2 or exterior mods plz help

Well im 18 years old and as you kno as a 18 year old who makes 8.00 an hour money is hard to come by. Im pretty close in having enough money for stage 2 but lately mods havent been going so well for me. The dealer i bought the car from said they would not warranty my car if it has stage 2 installed. But i found a dealer who will put stage 2 in the car and warranty it but i have a question will this dealer take over my warranty fully. As some of you may know my tranny blew out of my car for who knows wat reason i guess it was just faulty from the factory. But ive been saving my money for mrz door sills and other mrz products to dress my engine up, lights from luminics, and avs tail light covers and head light covers and just little mods that would make my car stand out. But im letting css.net decide what i should do with my car heres a pic of her

I would say go with the stage 2 first! Buy the door sills and stuff a little at a time but get the more expensive performance upgrade first.

your warranty is through GM, not the chevy dealer. They HAVE to honor a warranty on a stage 2 (only) car. unless you've really been beating the **** out of it.

this is the question you have to ask yourself: "is my car fast enough" for an 18yr old with practically no driving experience, the answer should be "yes".
my vote is for saving the money. you, yourself said money is hard to come by.. so dont waste it. (unless there are hotties at your school who will only double team you in a stage 2 coballt )
you could do alot cooler stuff with the cash than modding your car.
but, like i said it is up to you.

Get stage 2. You will think you have a different car and 70 mph in second gear is amazing. I keep debating doing some appearance mods on my car, but while they are nice to look at, they dont make your car faster. This car wants to go faster.

stage 2 then i would def lower that thing, not only gives you looks but youll love how it handles after. all ive done that really has no affect on performance was the headlight but they def set off the car.

i guess i really have to think about it the mods on the car now are
-18" asa js5s on avon m550 tires
-b&m short throw
-airbox mod
-23% tint on the 2 sides 5 on the other sides and rear and lip
-debadged and rebadged in the front with a 24designs.net badge
-vinyls and such
I have brake caliper paint and everything waiting when the car comes back. i just am so confused on what to do. i love my car and i just want it the way i see it in my eyes

^^ that's your opinion of done.

Orange, (great color btw) You say you are really into style, well so do that. You have a bunch of money saved and you can do alot with that. You would be amazed what just little touches here and there can do. I have pumped a good amount of money into my car just for the visual aesthetics right now, and I get a TON of compliments and looks. My car might not be the fastest but it looks damn good.

I would say if you are that big into the looks and style, then use the money you have for that. Then when you start making more money, put in the stage 2. by that time you may not want stage 2 you may decide to go a different route (who knows what will be out by that time). Your car is still plenty fast without stage 2, at this point sitting in the driveway or parked in the lot at school you will get a bunch more compliments about how the car looks. Girls like the looks and speed (your SC makes plenty of speed), so up your looks, get some poontang and save up for more speed.

Me personally, I'm into "go before show". I'd go with the Stg2 before appearance mods. But thats just IMO. Go with what you feel you want to do next. Just realize its a "want", not a "need". Don't go breaking the bank for something you don't truly "need". Ok, my financial aid is done for the afternoon.

BlueSS, I don't want you to think i was putting you down or anything, I just wanted to state that your idea of complete is probably different from his.

I feel it should have go before show, no point to show if it cant go..... But thats me, however I remember making 8 an hour and modding my truck, you really have to think of what you want to do and where you want to go with your car. How serious are you about "pimping" your ride? Also do you have a credit card? What I did to gain credit I would pick something like say a 400 dollar mod, I would save up 250-300 and buy it on credit. Pay off atleast half, and then pay off the rest slowly. Helps out when your 18 trying to get your credit rating going. Just be careful to not go overboard with it. I did and it got me in some trouble.
