crank pulley?
crank pulley?
Has anyone tried the light weight crank pulley from RMS Racing? Found on RacingSolutions.com .What increases could you expect ? Any down side?I did a quick search but I have things to do and would like to order today. Thanks for any responses.
First off, its "RSM Racing" not "RMS Racing", lol. Simple typo im sure, im just knit-picky. Also, they aren't called that anymore, they now go under the name of "Z-Spec". Anywho, underdrive pulleys for our cars are a waste. Our stock pulley is light enough. Your gonna get a gain of maybe 1whp if your lucky, and your electrical system is gonna lose power through it. Underdrive pulleys tend to weaken cars electrical systems, so with that 1hp you may gain, along with it your gonna lose headlight brightness and you may lose some stereo oomph. I've dealt with underdrive pulleys on previous cars and all I can say is never again.....lol.
Hrm. the light weight crank pulley isnt an underdrive pulley... its a light weight pulley of the same exact size.
I got one for 100 bucks, which is a fair price. Dont look for huge gains, less weight quicken revs... thats what your getting, not more power.
