ok everybody i need advice please. i wanna see a few shots of the cobalts with shaved door handles. and then tell me what shaved door handle kit you used please. im gonna be doin this but i wanna see some pix and know what kit to buy and what kits not to buy to.

auto loc sux i sell em at the perf. shop i work at part time. they are horriable on warrenty stuff. we had a guys truck in the shop torn apart ready to get them installed and the solinoids where bad. it took the 3 weeks to get us a replacement kit. and we get it and it only one solnoid and both where bad and we even told then that. so we ended up waitin 2 more weeks. it was bullshit. and we could not send em back to our wholesaler cause auto loc does all their own warrenty stuff so we where basicly ascrewed till they came.

 

 

id ask what kit you used but thats a photoshop.....

I Mounted my soleniods under the seats with cables, That they sell!

Make sure to get the Locking nut instead of the crimp for the end so you can adjust it!


I got the 50lbers they pull like a Champ & get the Adjustable Billet door Poppers & drill them in right under the Button for the Light on the Door, Thats where Mine are!
This Kit runs about $450 to $550 depending on what you get!

 

so i guess autoloc it is then...and bill why didnt you just put the soliniods in the door???

 

Because the clearence & Weight in the Door! You either have to run Power into the door or run the Cable out! I choose to keep the weight out of the door & it makes for easier adjustment of the cable & Service over all! Also the heat & cold can affect the performance of the soleniods!

 

Both yelllow balts look HOT! Even if one is a photo shop!
