I have been looking for an Arrival Blue SS/SC with G85, sunroof, xm but have not been able to find one with those options without airbags, onstar, etc. As I try to order one, I have been told by two different salesmen/dealers that they cannot order one in Arrival Blue anymore and that a Lazer Blue one would be 4-6 months to build. Is this positively true that Laser Blue is the only option now and that it would take that long to get one? I know GM stated Laser Blue would be available winter 05 but damn, it's not winter till Dec 21.

Yeah, this is true, It has been discontinued, I had the same problem ordering my car, and I ordered in in August, still no car

Same here. I actually had no idea the color was being discontinued; I just liked it from the first time I saw it on an '03 Silverado. The dealer had 2 Cobalts with the options I wanted (except spoilers but that's fixed now ), one red and one blue. The red one was a good-looking car too but red isn't really "me". So I went with the blue and now I'm glad I did. IMO you just can't beat this color at night under the lights!

Black looks good too- when it's clean. Which it rarely is. I still love black cars/trucks, but after having 3 of them and always struggling to keep them looking clean, it was time for a change...

 

yeah, actually the new laser blue is something under the moon as well.
also, i thought the trucks had the dark blue matallic color.

 

Mine is exactly what you want, I ordered mine in July and got it September first. there were 3 people that wanted mine in the 16 hours it was at the dealership, none wanted the one they had with onstar.

You might find one on a lot in Arrival Blue but it will almost certainly have onstar, it's basically because of the pattern orders GM does, I think.

 

The only one in the country that had the options we wanted was in TX and it is being delivered today at 4:00. Unfortunately it is not being delivered to me so we had to settle for one with OnStar. We are haveing to drive 8 hours to get it but good news is I am getting a heck of a deal on it. So after tomorrow it looks like I will have a new toy to play with. It is just too bad I wont be driving it much since it will be her car.

 

Try doing a search on GMbuypower.com . It will search dealer iventories for what u want . I did a search for Arrival Blue in my area and pulled up one 06 SS in a 4 state area . Lazer Blue cars are already in showrooms , might wanna check that out .....it looked pretty good and the Cobalts I saw .

 

they have had a fully loaded arrival blue sitting by me forever, but then again I am in MD so I don't know if that helps you to much. It has airbags XM and Onstar also so...but i hope it helps

Well we have one now. Took the drive down to Kissimmee, Fl on friday and picked her up. It is a fully loaded SS/SC just like the one rjones linked to above. She loves her new car and I like it pretty good as well.
