Thats alot faster than the one they tested before. I think like 0.8 seconds faster. Maybe this one was broken in better, and it was a better surface. So, maybe this means that the Cobalt SS should be right around 7 seconds.

On average Solstices are doing about 7.2s 0-60. This 0-60 time by MotorTrend more then liekly is a time with the first foot of movement removed. That would easily explain the time difference. Because the difference between not broken in and broken in is defintely not 0.5s off of the time on a Solstice.

Yes. The Solstice has the SS 2.4's engine.

I think this solstice was more broken in. Maybe a 2.4SS could run 0-60 in 6.9 seconds?
In my cold climate low sea level here in Canada, I ran .1 seconds faster through the 1/4 mile then the motor trend solstice, so maybe it could happen.
