i have an early production 07 ss/sc with recaros...my steering wheel buttons are flush (black part with silver part)

at the nextel cup race at pocono i sat in an 07 ss/sc and looked at the steering wheel controls and the buttons stick out a lil bit...making it easier to use...

anyone kno how to change these...or if its worth it...

anyone else notice this????
