Front Radiator protector grill???

Hi,
I just bought a cobalt ss supercharged and was wondering if they sell a front grill to protect the radiator? It's a 2006. Does this cause problems with the radiator or it doesn't matter at all.
Let me know.
Thanks

you can buy the grille that comes on the 2.4 it fits perfectly.
quite a few people have done it.
alot of people (myself included) make our own custom one.

i would say check around on here, or ask if anyones selling one. will be alot cheaper than from the dealership.

They've got a grill you can get for the radiator. It's not really needed, it's more an appearance factor.

I beg to differ.

the amount of **** my grill catches is crazy.
and when i have parked beside other cobalts without one theres 1 noticable difference.
My rad fins arent beaten to **** by road debris.

I think it was idiocy that GM has 3 important radiators 6 inches from the pavement and wide open to abuse.

Can I get a similar style as the grill in the rear bumper? I like the look of that one. I have a red ss sc and i wouldn't want the chrome one's. I guess I'll look around the net to see if i can find one. Maybe ebay would have. What would it be called though?

Thanks!

I just bought my cobalt yesterday and I found it ridiculous that it didn't have a grill. I need to fix it before it costs me a radiator.

Ah, well, you're lucky then! I hardly notice what all is stuck in my radiator. I should probably fork out the 70 bux (I'm guessing) to get the lower grill. And yes, GM has whole departments full of idiots. Haha.
