i just got off the phone with Tune Time asking about tuning the car for the 60's and 2.8 pulley

the guy said the following-

-the software even with a tune will make it run rich at 5700+rpm anyway

-they don't recommend the 60's at all

- i can run the 2.8 pulley with the 42's just fine

i don't have a clue what to think of this..from everyone on this site it seems the 60's + 2.8 was a good setup

 

how much are they charging for a tune

hmmm ive only had HPtuners 2 weeks and my 60lbers run me a nice solid 11.3 all the way to 7200rpm.

curious exactly what he means.

 

I used to get an occasional rich spike there, but it would go right back to 11.4 or so,

 

He's very good at tuning...but he even told missedmatchfaces who has the tag turbo kit with the gt28rs turbo to get 50 lb injectors...the 60's were running pig rich on him.....I honestly think it's the way he's tuning the car...He's good at tuning, don't get me wrong, but you should be able to tune a 2.8 with 60's no problem
