I have already Installed my CAI.. and the night I installed it it sounded mint very loud and could feel the power.. I have ran into 2and 1/2 problems.. the first oen is teh intake tube is pressing against the splash gaurd thing in the wheel weel and when I make a sharp right hand turn my wheel rubs against it.. I was tryign to move the intake around and angle it and push it up higher but I could not find any way of fixing this problem from pressing againt it.. I made it a little better but still it is rubbing and when I put my winter tires on I kno it will be a lot worse.. My second problem was a CEL.. theres not much I can ask for in this because I knew I had a good chance of getting it from reading otehr forums about it.. I did not disconnect the battery however.. I didnt know if that was a good idea for reseting the memory so I didnt do that.. I will probably just go to auto zone and reset it there today.. and the last little problem was I noticed my supercharger isnt whining nearly as loud as it used to when I first intalled it.. does anyone know a reason for that or any other problems I had that I might have done something wrong and how to fix it..

You're not the first to run into any of these three problems, in fact if you search for threads by ninja44 he had all three of them. Regarding the fitment, contact Fujita and make sure you take a number of high resolution photos of the install to show them it is correct. This is what Ninja did and they sent him a replacement no questions asked. As for the CEL it's not the intake it's the Cobalt...they are very sensitive to any change in air flow and I bet the code your car is throwing will point to a lean condition. Finally about the S/C whine, I don't think anyone is really too sure what's going on with this but again you're not the first to notice this :).
