Oh man. That is my goal in life. To own a 10 secong car.
It's not going to happen with the Balt but the 09 Camaro i'm hoping to get.....maybe after some tinkering.

tinkering like a cam or major motor work , theres no way the new camaro will run 10's with boltons and a tune , i would just start with a 1998 Trans am , parts are half as expensive

how do u figure? with all the speculation chevy might be putting a 450+hp engine in the new camaro's and that in its own should be capable of high 11's, so w/ bolt ons and a tune i can see it hitting a 10 second, if they put the new engine with the Direct Injection. the direct injection is giving engines a huge increase in performance.

 

screw a neon i mean srt 4. lol j/k i love them cars. i love my cobalt to, much more of a sleeper then the srt-4. i actually wanted to get one instead of the cobalt but couldnt find one. ohh well time to get my car in the 12's. im jealous.

Do you have a manual/electronic boost controller which limits boost in 1st/2nd? That's frickin nuts. What kind of tires did you have on when doing that pass?

It was a joke... im not in the 10s yet, best time is 11.46 and I use slicks and no boost controller sucks for SRT4s on stock and stage 3 turbos. I dont want to limit my boost in 1st and 2nd either, when I did I ran slower. so i run 27psi in all gears.

 

11.49 ain't bad either. good job!

 

or buy a gt500 and put 1500 bucks in it. probably end up costing less than a 10 sec sti. **** breakin all the time. hell a used z06 would probably cost less than a 10 sec sti LOL.
