Manifold Reseal Kit

So I'm going to be installing an LSJ exhaust manifold and downpipe on my 2.2 soon and my friend suggested I pick up a new gasket so the manifold seals up to the engine correctly. I came across this on CED's website for the GM Honed Manifold. http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...P1801C146.aspx Should I get it? Are the manifolds really necessary?

In my opinion, stay with the LSJ exhaust manifold. If you got the $$ to spend, go with the honed exhausht manifold, gains are about 4HP/6 ft-lbs. I do recommend the reseal kit from CED.

tony, id pick it up. from what I hear the studs in the DP aint so great anyway. So you might as well do a full and fresh swap while you have everything apart.

That's what I'm thinking too, for $30 I might as well.
