I have heard that the old Cavi shocks and struts should work on the cobalts but i am not sure about this.

nope

when I talked to Gravana about struts for the Ion they said you're more likely to see some coilover setups released before a high end strut like Koni. I'm sure the same probably applies to the Cobalt...

Will the coil-over kit from RKSport work for the 2.0 as well? http://www.rksport.com/product/p_12035075/view_detail

I really doubt that because it's a different platform from the j-bodies and the cars themselves are heavier than the Cavis were.

Tein is in the test phase for coilovers for the cobalt. I know as soon as they come out i'm getting a set. Had them on my accord $1200 for a set but offers 16 levels of damper and adjustability from inside your car with the EDFC. They are the best handling suspension in my opinion.

why would you want to put coil overs on instead of just springs..?? isn't it difficult to get everyside of the car perfect?? you have to keep jacking the car up and adjusting the spring.

Thank God, hopefully they're not like other aftermarket stuff and have a "your car is a new model" premium put on the price.
