they put a cobalt motor in some of these? thats more power than the type-r motor they have in the others.

 

yeah i've heard about this vehicle. A super lightweight chassis and frame with a 2.*l Eco-Tec with forced induction or not. A very spirited sounding vehicle.

300hp sounds like it would be pretty intense on a vehicle like that.

 

There's another post on here somewhere... Jay Leno had the first one of these, but of course his was alot more powerful. Yeah it's the same 2.0l ecotec. I'll see if I can find it.

Great video at Jay Leno's garage! Thanks for the link. Leno's comparison of the Ecotec LSJ engine to the Civic Type R engine was great! Thanks Jay! And it's a good thing that I don't have an Ariel Atom because I doubt I would stop driving it long enough to go to work. Hell it would be hard to stop long enough to get gas! But at least I would be grinning and laughing and swallowing so many damn bugs that I would probably never have to stop for food!
