i saw a video a while back of a cobalt going 160mph...i cant find it anywhere...does anyone know where that is?

even a video of a cobalt going at least 145-150 would work my freind seems to think my car wont go over 140 (we are in an argument he thinks i couldnt outrun a charger police car)...i do not want to show him first hand that the car will go that fast but if i have to i guess i will lol

 

fuel cutoff is 158mph... ive gotten over 150 to prove it but i prolly wont do it again...

 

yeah i dont want to...one gust of wind and this little **** is wrapped around a tree...the car just doesnt feel very stable at extremely high speeds

 

i got one doin 153.. but im afraid ill get bitched at again for "putting lives in danger"

That was my video. ah the good oL days. And i wasn't proving that i could go 160 i was proving there WAS a fuel cut and the car wasn't gear limited but thats neither here nor there. Search my name for it. You'll find some other good stuff too.

LOL! I havent seen that in a while. You saw how unstable **** got after i got over 140 mph. High speeds FTL

 

you wouldn't outrun the charger cruiser....you may slowly start to pull away eventually but it would be over by then....I raced one of our new charger cruisers and got destroyed. Top speed wise the balt has an edge but you'd have to assume you were on a neverending straightaway.....and even then you can't outrun the radio

 

i raced an rt and smoked him...i dont see the police version even being as fast as an rt...sorry i must disagree with you and my freind lol your right about the radio but you gotta remember i live in ky the radio doesnt do any good if all the other cops are in bed asleep haha

 

its not about that its cause it would have to be a LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! straight away. look at it this way if your unflashed you can't go over 158 and get bounced down to 153 every time you hit the limiter and the highway cars can do 130-140 and HOLD that exact spped. That ain't enough to really out run them. Highway stright to Back street ownage would be my first choice to lose a cop.....

 

yup...and trust me there are plenty of backroads...i can think of ways to get to the safe hiding of my garage...

btw i have lost cops twice before both times at night...in the middle of no where...no one else on the roads

 

Not to say anything self incriminating, but you shouldn't be going straight for very long if your running from cops... turns are your best friends

Yeah, I'm with this statement. I would think that every part on the car would be shaking and/or falling off. Not worth it.
