Sea lion caves are 2 plus hours from Portland. If you want to do the coast - Seaside,Cannon Beach or Astoria would be better for the Washingtonians. If something closer to Portland is better - There is a Sonic about 15 minutes west of town. Not far from many vineyards , country roads, maybe a cider mill or two.

Here is another idea. These guys are located near Portland International Airport.

Saturday Oct 20th @ HorsepowerFreaks
We're having one last dyno event for the year, and we're doing it big! This is the last opportunity you'll have to check the power your car is making before you start your winter project. We'll be having 2 raffles throughout the day; the prizes include T shirts (multiple sizes available for men and women), gift certificates and a free slot for next season's dyno events. We're also having a giant year end sale where we'll be offering some incredible deals on a ton of parts we have here varying from intake and exhaust systems to turbo's and engine management systems. Come down and talk with our knowledgeable staff to help outline your winter project.

We're starting at 10am and running until 5pm, free hot dogs will be on the BBQ. Call in to set up an appointment (503-256-5600 ext 103). We'll also be strapping down the HPF750 M3 towards the end of the day, so come down and check out this record setting E46 M3.

For more information or to line up your car, please email me back at branden@horsepowerfreaks.com.

Portland is a possibility though, good cruise for us!

since were meeting down south tho the people all up north need to meet up somewhere and all cruise down together.
and we should alert the northern cali guys about this as well some of them might be willing to take a trek up for the meet.

Portland=No sales tax, less expensive gas, great places to eat and great twisty roads in the hills. What is not to like?

Someone suggested holding the meet in southern Washington. What about holding the meet in the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland)?
