I think we should stay somewhere relatively close to portland... I wanna be home before 7 or 8 so that means i need to leave the portland area around 430.... I dont know if itll be me and the wife or me and my friend who lived out in portland for like 2 yrs. imma be hung over too, beings im going to a halloween party the night before the meet :-p

OK, so this is what I am thinking. NWAE of course you have final say. We can meet at Hooters of Jantzen Beach. Very easy to find, just south of the Interstate Bridge (I-5). From there we can cruise the Old Columbia Hwy - Starting in Troutdale (I-84 Exit 17). I think this section of the Hwy is about 20 miles. Many overlooks and waterfalls for photo ops. From there, there are several options - weather and time permitting. We could cruise back to Portland, go to Hood River, or whatever. I will get some routes together tonight. Been busy testing drving Sky Redlines and stuff.

 

I like this, it will give us some time to talk at lunch, cause we have some items as a group that we are going to bring up (all good, I promise!!). A shorter cruise with some nice photo opps will be nice. This way we can come back, chat abit, maybe cruise to another area, maybe have some dinner somewhere, and then we can cruise back north. Sounds good to me!!!

since we are starting with lunch right off the freeway, Im going to say that we from here, meet at the weigh station in fed way on southbound I-5 between 9:45 and 10am and plan on taking off at 10am for oregon.

 

Can you stop again on the way down around the SR-512 interchange?
