I looking into buying a new pulley for my 06 ss/sc...i wanna buy a 2.5 or 2.6 but i heard rumors that you cant get much smaller than a 2.7 without porting the super? is that true? PS Im getting 60# injectors and a reflash just wondering about the pulley..thanks a bunch

 

you would get a better response in the 2.0L performance section.

 

welcome to the site. all you need is a diff s/c snout. and yes 60's, and tune... and some mad cooling mods

 

the issue with a 2.5 or 2.6 is that it creates CRAZY heat. so like said, if you'r egoing that route, make sure you get a bunch of cooling mods as well.

 

from what I've seen, lower than a 2.8 is really testing the limits of the efficiency of the supercharger.

If it were me, instead of doing all the supporting mods to try to run 2-3 psi of extra boost, I would just put money towards either a turbocharger or a twin-screw setup... but that's just me
