Where is the outside temperature sensor located?

I think I disconnected it accidently, because it doesn't read a temperature on the DIC anymore.

take out the drivers side headlight, you will see it there. if you cant see the outside temp and all you see is 3 lil lines in the DIC, yer sensor is disconnected.

Yeah I was messing around with the windshield washer fluid connector and was yanking on wires to get the connector where I wanted it. I removed the drivers headlight and bracket, and put it all back, and no temp. So is the sensor in this area somewhere, or is it on the windshield?

u just answered your own question, if you messed with the headlight and bracket, chances are the sensor is loose or disconnected, yes, its behind the drivers side headlight.... not on the dash or base of the windsheild.............................

because its not in direct sunlight which would give you a way off reading due to the surface temp. of the baking glass

thats your sensor for the autoheadlights to come on, when it gets dark the sensor relays that and kicks em on...

under hood temps are not going to go forward.
the sensor is ahead of the engine.

its also BELOW the "hot headlight", protected by the headlight bracket itself

it basically sits just above where your "cold air intake" sits....

are you talking about inside the car on the dash? That is the auto headlight sensor, it makes your headlights turn on when it is dark out...

its out of direct sunlight, its outside the cars interior, there is about 3-4 layers of metal between the headlight & the engine bay, so far mine has always been within 3*-4*

the bubble is the autoheadlight sensor as was said above.

it detects when its dark enough outside and automatically puts your headlights on.

I got no pic's, but it's at the base of the windshield, in the windshield, not in the car but in the windshield, I think it might be an alignment mark or something like that??? If anybody finds out please let me know, it's been puzzling me sence I just found out that it's NOT the outside temp senser.
