I took that bracket off! No sensor in sight! Is it normally clipped on to something? It worked before I messed with the harness, and now it doesn't so I know it was me at some point yesterday.

I wish you said that in the beginning! I put it all back together. But anyway, I took it apart again and sure enough there it was.

you do know that you can just turn the headlight switch to the "on" position and your headlights will be on, right?

It really is there. Base of windsheild, on the black outline. You sort of have to look for it.

It's on the back of the black bracket that holds the drivers side headlight.

ditto its an alignment mark...notice how theres no trim around the windshield like most other cars...gm uses a robotic glass installing machine that actually shines a laser beam into that little circle to make sure the glass lines up perfectly everytime...unlike with hand laid glass which may be misaligned and therefore needs trim around the outsides to cover up the inaccuracies...although the circle is red on my car...not yellow

now settle down children....

I have the red circles on my windshield as well. I thought that they were used to align the wiper arms when they are putting them on at the factory? Oh well...they don't give any horsepower...so who cares. :p LOL
