if i was to paint my calipers...what type of paint should i use...

caliper paint kit? like 20bucks at pep boys

I just painted mine this weekend, used the dupli-color kit, cost me like 20 bucks. All I gotta say is that prepping the caliper for paint is the key, make sure you get every spec of dust off, and if you're really patient like me you can even take a bit of steel wool to em just to make sure :D I did three coats (about 45 min between coats) and it looks amazing.
Oh, and buy yourself a new brush, the one that comes with the kit falls apart pretty easily >.< I used a larger brush for the open areas to get em painted quick, then did the tricky spots with a tiny brush.
After you put your wheels back on it looks pretty sick! I just need some rims that show em off some more :D

yea, the duplicolor kits work great. i used a rag, and a toothbrush to really clean off the caliper. the kit comes with caliper cleaner.

wow. attack of the newbs. just go to autozone and buy the duplicolor kit. good stuff

I've never done it myself but have planned on it. A buddy of mine used just regular high temp paint on his calipers and brake drums. It turned out pretty nice and it sure does help the appearance of a car.

well my car has the whole black theme goin so........

i used that dupli color kit and it worked great.. then like a month after i decide to spray break cleaner on it to clean them off a bit and make the paint stand out more and the paint just dripped off. i don no y
