Gtech RR Setup
Gtech RR Setup
Just wondering if anyone else on here has the Gtech RR on the 2.0L Supercharged? If so did you have any trouble calibrating the RPM's? I can't seem to get them set correctly
...getting frustrating and there is absolutely no help on Gtech's website or the manual...
Oh, and by the way, jbodyperformance.com is having a blowout on the Gtech RR...$199!

Check out http://www.gtechpro.com/rr.html
I borrowed my friends Gtech Pro SS and trust me, there is no way to get it to work right on our cars. I finally found a setting that semi works. when you are at idle or cruising a constant speed the rpm's will "jump" around a lot but under WOT it will read correctly for the most part.
Well I think that I have it figured out, I managed to get it to the point where it reads the RPM's fine when I'm moving, if I'm stoped however they sometimes jump all over the place. I tried a 1/4mile run but I screwed up on the launch and missed the first shift to second but here was some of the results... 0-60mph=6.258sec, 1/4mile=14.625sec, max hp=189.24 (net hp). Seems like these results could be pretty close, I'll find out when I get to the track I suppose.
Here's a chart that I downloaded from the Gtech, I'm gonna make a few more runs today and upload 'em tonight...anyone know if this looks close to what I should be seeing? Minus the hp and torque of corse 'cause this measures "net hp".

It's too bad that the G-tech doesn't work on our cars.
Because according to a test done by Car and Driver of performance meters, if a G-tech is used on a car that is on a level road ... it is EXTREMELY accurate.
